002. Unfinished Epilogue 2020 - Present

Unfinished Epilogue is an ongoing project that is not only a sensory exercise about being lost, but it is about remembering and curating the experiences of when Wang feels one with his senses. By montaging cropped compositions of mundane daily occurrences and staged narratives that makeup how he experiences the world, he aims to connect the fragments from my memories to form a web of new information. Unfinished Epilogue provides these visual interludes for viewers to look, recollect, and discover the intricacies of the interconnectedness of their lived experiences through a personal lens.

2. Dig through 1 and a half years of footage and realize its full of hidden gems...oh and her personal diary

4. Edit a video that shows her side of your love story accompanied by her most inner thoughts.

5. Show it to your partner :)

In Urban Hallucination, the mirages created in collaboration between mundane objects and human subjects spark a conversation about the beauty and the ephemeral nature of urban intimacy, which is made cohesive by the syntax of light and color. These image fragments coagulate poetically, creating an alternative, introspective visual attitude for New York City.
